No Black Friday deals are live as we publish this, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. Black Friday 2026 falls on Friday 27 November and Cyber Monday on Monday 30 November. This page exists now, months early, because the useful half of a deals page is not the deals — it is knowing, before the noise starts, which parts of skincare genuinely get cheaper in November and which parts never do. When real offers appear we will post them here, dated, and we will say which of our picks they apply to.
Until then, here is the honest shape of this category. Skincare is not electronics. The headline discount depths that make Black Friday famous belong to other aisles: for the 2025 holiday season, Adobe Analytics reported peak markdowns of 30.9% in electronics, 29.6% in toys, 25.1% in apparel, 24.3% in televisions and 23.4% in computers — and it did not report a discount depth for personal care at all. What that absence means in practice is that skincare discounting is narrower, shallower and far more brand-specific than the category-wide sale culture implies.
Narrower does not mean nothing. Three things reliably happened in the beauty aisle last November, and all three are documented rather than remembered:
- Skincare formulas discounted in a 20-30% band.HuffPost's 20 November 2025 roundup listed La Roche-Posay Toleriane Double Repair at 25% off ($19 from $25) on Amazon, CeraVe Daily Facial Lotion at 20% off ($15 from $18), Kiehl's Avocado Eye Cream at 30% off ($43 from $62) and Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm at 30% off ($50 from $72). That is a real and consistent band — and note how small the absolute saving is at the drugstore end. Twenty percent off an $18 lotion is three dollars.
- DECIEM ran a whole month, not a weekend.The Ordinary's "Slowvember" gave 23% off every product from 1 November to 7 December 2025, announced in advance, with the website deliberately closed on Black Friday itself and a cap of five units per product. If you want The Ordinary — and a lot of our picks are The Ordinary — there is no reason to camp on a Friday.
- Retailer events were loyalty-tiered, not product markdowns. Sephora's 2025 Savings Event gave 20% off sitewide to Rouge members, 15% to VIB and 10% to Insider, with a three-unit cap on The Ordinary. A 10% tier is worse than the everyday Amazon price on plenty of what we recommend, so "sitewide sale" and "good price" are not the same sentence.
And the thing that discounts hardest in this category is not skincare at all — it is the hardware. Devices and small appliances are consumer electronics wearing a beauty label, and they behave like electronics: the same HuffPost roundup had a Shark styling tool at 43% off ($199 from $350). The ranking below reflects exactly that. It is not ordered by which product is best — our main roundups already do that job. It is ordered by how much waiting for November plausibly pays on this specific thing, from the device where a markdown would be worth real money down to the cheapest serum on the site, where waiting is a rounding error.

Black Friday in the US is the day after Thanksgiving, which is the fourth Thursday of November. For 2026 that puts Thanksgiving on Thursday 26 November, Black Friday on Friday 27 November and Cyber Monday on Monday 30 November. In practice the beauty calendar starts much earlier than the date itself: Sephora's big savings event ran 31 October to 10 November in 2025, and DECIEM's ran from 1 November. If you wait for the actual Friday you will already have missed two of the three things worth knowing about.

How to tell a real skincare deal from a fake one
Four checks, in order of how often they catch something.
- Compare against the everyday price, not the list price.A "list price" on a product that has never sold at list is decoration. Where we show a struck-through number it comes from Amazon's own feed, and we print the percentage next to it so you can judge it yourself.
- Price per ounce, not price. Bundles and gift sets are the most common November trap in this category, because a set can be genuinely cheaper than its parts or genuinely more expensive and look identical either way. Our gift sets page works through which is which.
- Check the seller. Skincare is a heavily diverted category. EltaMD publishes a list of sellers it does not authorize; a listing well under everyone else is a reason to look harder, not to click faster.
